There’s no better time to be a beer lover. There’s no better place to savor the current golden age of craft brewing than Colorado. And it doesn’t get any better than your own small-scale soiree with your favorite microbrewer. The Limelight’s Beer Dinners bring together amazing craft brews and epicurean treats. It’s the perfect pairing for foodies and hopheads alike, and it’s right here in Aspen.

Chef Joe Gonyo and his team even include the ales and saisons in the menu, marinating and braising with featured brews to add just the right touches of malty or hoppy, bitter or savory. The menu is always evolving, but past delicacies have included the likes of Orange Dusted Sea Scallops marinated in Hoegaarden Ale.

If your mouth’s not watering yet, it will be when you see the brewmasters who are coming: Aspen’s finest along with other all-stars from around the state.

Here’s the confirmed calendar so far:

Dec. 16 — Aspen Brewing Company

Jan. 6 — Roaring Fork Beer Company

Jan. 20 — New Belgium Brewing Company

Feb. 3 — Great Divide Brewing Company

Keep watching for more amazing breweries, and don’t be surprised to see the likes of Avery and Wynkoop on the roster.

Keep an eye out too for the Grand Slam Dinner. It’s got all your favorite beverages. One brewery, winery and distillery will join us for an epic night of feasting and imbibing. At the center will be three gourmet courses, each paired with a beer, wine and spirit. The bases are loaded. All you have to do is step up the plate.

Of course, our Beer Dinners are wildly popular with the local crowd, so be sure to make your reservations as early as possible.

In the meantime, what’s your favorite Colorado brewery? Which would you like to see on the Limelight’s Beer Dinners calendar? Cheers!
