As summer changes to fall, and fall to winter, local shops are putting their warm-weather goods into storage (or onto the sale racks…wink-wink!), and are preparing for winter recreation by stocking the shop with the greatest gear on the market.

If you’re on the hunt for a good ski or snowboard setup for your vacation to paradise, Ketchum is the place to be! Check out these locally owned ski and snowboard shops for the gear you need.

It has been a local’s hub for many years and has been voted best in the valley twice in the last three years. Sturtevant’s should be your first stop if you’re looking to rent skis for you and your little ones, or if you’re interested in a demo.

Local tip: If you need a simple tune-up, be sure to call ahead!

Sturtevant’s also rents snowboards and snowshoes.
